Sharlene is a 5th grader from Bumala, Kenya.
Story
Sharlene is ten years old and the only child of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was one year old. After her mother died, she lived with her father. After he died, she was staying with a guardian when Upendo Children's Home found her. She was taken in and given a home.
Interests
Her favorite color is blue and she loves to sing and dance.
Dreams
She dreams of becoming a singer.
She says she is grateful for her home because she is healthy and has good care and is taught good morals. She loves going to church and learning about Jesus.
